It is a professional department for intensive care and treatment of critically ill patients in Wuhu conch hospital. It deals with patients with life-threatening or potential high-risk factors caused by one or more organ and system dysfunction due to various reasons, and provides systematic and high-quality medical care for patients in a timely manner And treatment technology department.

Technical features

Mechanical ventilation is an important means of life support for critically ill patients and an important measure for the treatment of acute respiratory failure. At present, our department has three ventilators: Mindray, MAQUET and transfer ventilator.

Continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), originated from hemodialysis, is a treatment method to promote the elimination of harmful substances in the body, including hemofiltration, hemodialysis, hemoperfusion and other treatment methods, and can be carried out continuously. With the development of technology, CRRT is not only widely used in acute and chronic renal failure, but also widely used in the treatment of poisoning, multiple organ failure and other non kidney diseases.

Hemodynamic monitoring and treatment is conducive to the close monitoring of circulatory system function changes in critical illness, so as to guide the application of cardiovascular active drugs.

Bedside ultrasound monitoring is of great significance for the evaluation of some organ functions and the implementation of some operations.

Bronchoscope alveolar lavage, the use of bronchoscope to inject normal saline into the bronchoalveolar and then suck out, collect the effective fluid on the alveolar surface, check its cell composition and soluble substances.

The diagnosis and treatment of multiple organ dysfunction syndrome (MODS), also known as multiple organ failure (MOF), is a clinical syndrome in which two or more organ failure occur simultaneously or sequentially after severe infection, trauma, major surgery, etc.

Diagnosis and treatment of shock shock shock is caused by various reasons, which leads to insufficient blood volume of the body's effective circulation, which leads to insufficient perfusion of tissues and organs, and finally leads to cell metabolism disorder and organ dysfunction syndrome.

Cardiopulmonary cerebral resuscitation (CPR) refers to all rescue measures taken for cardiac arrest, and the ultimate goal is to restore the social behavior ability of patients.

In addition, there are acute respiratory distress syndrome, respiratory failure, severe asthma treatment; postoperative monitoring and treatment of major surgery; treatment of severe infection and sepsis; correction of severe internal environment disorder and nutritional support treatment.
